Everywhere from Reddit to TikTok, you can find quick tips on “How to Fix your Relationship” or “Five Ways to Relax.” While those resources can be helpful, they aren’t tailored to you as a unique person. That’s why simply learning the tips and tricks often isn’t enough.
As a therapist, I am trained in helping you understand how your problems relate to your own identity, experiences, goals, and beliefs. Those insights clear the path for real, lasting change. To help make that change happen, I offer personalized strategies, support, and accountability.

I believe that everyone has the capacity to grow and change, and that process looks different for everyone. I really value your own instincts and self-knowledge; therapy works best when we combine your expertise in your own life with my expertise in therapy.

As an out-of-network provider, I strive to make therapy as affordable as possible. I will do my best to help you verify your benefits and submit claims. If your insurance plan has out-of-network benefits, you may receive partial reimbursement after meeting your deductible.

Most of my clients are young adults in their 20s and 30s. Often, they are experiencing some level of anxiety/depression as they work through concerns related to their careers, relationships, and family. Through therapy, I help them find tools to manage their emotions while also making progress towards their personal and professional goals.

Usually, the first session is about getting to know you better. It can be helpful to identify a few goals or areas of focus, but don't worry too much about starting in the "right" place. The process of therapy is organic, and it can take a few sessions to establish a rhythm and direction.

In therapy, the focus is always on you, first and foremost. That said, I find that therapy works best when you are comfortable - so no need to fear the awkward staring contests that you might see in portrayals of therapy on television. My style is warm and conversational. I understand that sometimes you will need me to listen and hold space for silence; other times, it might be helpful for me to offer observations, direction, and even some challenges.

At the end of most sessions, I usually suggest an activity or assignment. Sometimes, you might be practicing a communication or coping skill. Other times, you might journal or reflect further upon the themes that we've been discussing. I also offer recommendations for podcasts, articles, and books that might support your growth. I ask you to keep the work going between sessions so that you can use insights from our conversations to bring change into your daily life.

I strive to help you find ways to feel better as soon as possible. Some people choose to pursue short-term therapy, often focused on resolving a specific issue. Others prefer long-term treatment. I can work with you to find the length of treatment that suits your needs.
